George Cole with his quartet Eurocana perform crafted and melodically sophisticated original music, reminding us of the best of George Gershwin, Johnny Mercer and Cole Porter. His highly stylized approach, technical mastery and fast and furious guitar playing is in the tradition of Django Reinhardt. Performing sold out shows at NYC’s Carnegie Hall and in their Bay Area Hometown, Cole's music suggests a hot sultry evening in a 1940's Parisian nightclub. Cole also spent a decade as guitar instructor and mentor to Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt!
