Bohemian gypsy rock ensemble Vagabond Opera plays a combination of cabaret, burlesque, tango, Balkan beats, Klezmer, Parisian hot jazz and opera that’ll leave your head spinning. They sing in 15 languages and mix their genre defying original tunes with covers made famous by the likes of Jacques Brel, Tom Waits and Edith Piaf - all performed with theatrics, absurdist flair and an old world mood. Vagabond Opera are regularly played on NPR and shared stages and players with Pink Martini, Devotchka, The Decembrists and the Oregon Symphony, proving their easy crossover appeal.
