The Dustbowl Revival is a Venice, California based collective merging old school bluegrass, gospel, prewar blues and the hot swing of New Orleans to form a spicy roots cocktail. Known for their roaring live sets, Dustbowl's performances promise to be a white knuckle ride through the history of American folk that rarely stays just on the stage. It's a string and brass band mash up playing infectious, joyous music and a youthful take on time worn traditions. They have placed several songs on ABC, Fox, in independent films and won Americana song of the year from the Independent Music Awards where Tom Waits was judging.
