"Come celebrate the release of the eponymous debut album from contemporary jazz group "The Julian Hartwell Project" at this brand new restaurant, beer garden and live music venue in the heart of Northwest Philadelphia.
Over a year in the making, this all-original debut release showcases emerging composer/pianist Julian Hartwell and his band the "JHP"- an ever-evolving quintet/sextet group that draws from a wide array of influence including jazz, funk, rock, RnB and hip-hop to produce its distinctive, uplifting and high-energy sound. Featuring some of the Philly scenes most in demand up-and-coming players, the Julian Hartwell Project is finding a way to keep jazz both relevant and rooted on the dance floor. ...
