In addition to his work as a drummer, vocalist and co-founder of the region’s popular All-Star Jazz Trio—often heard in tandem with legendary songstress Peggy King-- Bruce Klauber is a columnist for the Broad Street Review, publicist for Jazz Bridge and a public relations professional.

As for his love of singing in general and Frank Sinatra in particular? “I was barely 15 when I first saw Frank Sinatra in person,” Klauber explains. He was here in Philadelphia at Convention Hall and on the bill with him were Sergio Mendes and Brazil ’66 and drummer Buddy Rich. Being a drummer, I went to see Buddy Rich and I knew nothing about Frank Sinatra. But when he came out on the stage, bolts of electricity went through me, and I’ve never felt anything like that before or since. I was hooked.”...
