Featuring WorldTown Sound System and The Living Sample along with special guest Jazz saxophonists Marion Salaam and Larry Price. The Living Sample are the trailblazers of the new wave of hip hop. The group combines the innovation of Golden Age with the raw grittiness of contemporary hip hop, and the heady grooves of acid jazz with razor-sharp synths, acknowledging hip hop's history while pushing the genre fearlessly into the future.


Philadelphia Jazz Project, in collaboration with Temple University Libraries, WRTI, PhillyCAM, Jazz Near You and other partners present a celebration of John Coltrane's 90th Birthday with 9 days of FREE events in Philadelphia. These events will take place between September 17th to 25th, 2016.
